Job description


BAE Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Task Manager to join the Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) Production team at our facility in York, PA. This is a great opportunity to join the Ground Manuever team with a long-standing future and to build your Program Management career in the production environment. In this role, you will perform tasks across all spectrums of Project Management to include initiating, organizing, integration, planning, managing & controlling, developing and completing projects/programs. This will potentially include ECP proposals, planning & baselining, schedule analysis and tracking, EVM, PCR and VAR preparation, Control Account oversight, risk and opportunity development and tracking as well as other critical tasks in support of the Production Program Manager. Opportunities to implement Mission Assist AI and digital infrastructure management tools in support of PM Team.
Required Skills and Education
  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Program Management/Performance Management /Program Controls
  • Familiarity with financial, production, engineering, or programmatic processes
  • Knowledge of how to monitor plans, schedules, budgets, and resources
  • Aptitude to manage complex tasks to completion through coordinated execution of cross functional support
  • Knowledge of how to lead effectively in a functional organization by developing productive relationships across the organization
  • Aptitude to demonstrate commitment to achieving desired outcomes
  • Strong communications techniques (internally and externally)
  • Attention to detail in reviewing and creating work products
