We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager - Restaurant Upscale to lead our upscale dining establishment with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and team leadership. Your enthusiasm for the food industry and commitment to hospitality will drive the success of our vibrant restaurant. Duties

  • Lead daily restaurant operations, maintaining high standards of service, food quality, and cleanliness.
  • Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to foster a motivated and skilled team.
  • Oversee food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales tracking, and inventory control.
  • Monitor inventory levels, control food costs, and manage procurement to optimize profitability.
  • Handle cash management duties including cash handling procedures and shift cash reconciliation.
  • Implement staff schedules, supervise shift operations, and ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to enhance team performance.
  • Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for financial improvement.
  • Promote a welcoming hospitality environment that emphasizes outstanding customer service and guest satisfaction.

Skills

  • Proven management experience within upscale or fine dining restaurants with a strong background in food service management.
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary standards, and kitchen operations.
  • Proficiency in POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing and inventory management.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising teams, conducting interviews, and staff training & development.
