What We're Looking For:

Position Overview:
The Lead Supervisor's primary role is to train and certify new housekeepers on MasterCorp's 7-steps and MasterMind Mobile usage. The Lead Supervisor of timeshare is to use the required training materials, assess and provide feedback, work with the housekeepers on productivity and cleanliness metrics, and certify/recertify. As time permits, the Lead Supervisor assists with inspecting rooms.
Essential Functions

As a Lead Supervisor:
  • Train staff, both existing and new associates, in MasterCorp's 7-Steps to Clean process and MasterMind Mobile usage.
  • Assess and provide feedback to managers of houskeepers' timeliness, dependability, and quality.
  • Coach housekeepers on productivity and cleanliness metrics.
  • Certify/Recertify housekeepers upon 7-Steps Certification.
  • Ensure processes are used and followed.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for 7-step certification and Hew Hire Onboarding.
  • Participate in quarterly Lead Supervisor calls.
  • Partner with Learning and Devlopment to ensure correct onboarding of new hires.
  • Provide updates to site leaders on the New Hire status and "ability to do their job".
  • As a Supervisor:
  • Examine carpets, drapes and furniture for stains, damage or wear and report as necessary
  • Assign duties to housekeeping personnel
  • Inspect units and complete report cards
  • Ensure kitchen inventory and supplies are placed as per resort and company procedures
  • Assist in maintaining storage closets clean and organized
  • Attend all training sessions and make practical application of training
  • Ensure a sense of urgency exists within housekeeping staff so that units are turned on time
  • Inspect 12 to 14 rooms per day (varies by site)
  • Personal timeliness, prompt with all assignments and appointments
  • Utilize supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively
  • Perform and /or assist in linen and supply inventories as requested
  • Ensure 7 steps chemicals and tools are available and used efficiently
  • Develop strong and beneficial working relationships with site associates
  • Assist in solving guest complaints promptly
  • Cultivate and develop strong, positive customer relations
  • Willing and able to assist resort guests and owners
  • Knowledgeable of the resort

Experience and Education Requirements
  • Highly preferred High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and work
  • experience.
  • Minimum 3 months with the company • Proven ability to train
  • MasterCorp 7-Steps to Clean Certified
  • Have a passion for cleanliness.
  • Have motivational skills.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic.
  • Have the ability to train others.
  • Have a desire to help others.
  • Able to work irregular hours
  • Able to travel and assist other sites.
  • Have a minimum rating of Key Contributor
  • Have no written disciplinary action within the last 90 days
  • Must be professional responsive and respectful
  • Travel: Frequent - travel is regularly required based on business needs
  • Environment- This position works in an operations environment with odors and/or dust and cleaning and laundry chemicals.

The Task Force Lead Supervisor is not limited to the above-mentioned job description and may be requested to do additional tasks as directed by MasterCorp Management.
Physical Requirements:
This position frequently requires standing, walking, pushing, pulling, moving, lifting (up to 25 lbs), bending, reaching, occasional ascending/descending, and repetitive motions. Employee must be able to perform the
essential functions of the position satisfactorily, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions of their job.
