Job description

A family in Austin, Texas is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful Family Assistant to provide a combination of personal, household, and family support. The role will have a significant remote administrative component, with regular in-person responsibilities including errands, vendor coordination, household projects, and assistance with the children's schedules. Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a point of contact for household vendors, contractors, cleaners, and other service providers.
  • Coordinate and oversee household maintenance, repairs, projects, and appointments.
  • Manage and organize household cleaners and ensure the home is properly maintained.
  • Handle household purchasing, Amazon orders, grocery provisioning, and keeping the home stocked.
  • Assist with household organization, including seasonal organization and children's clothing.
  • Manage errands, pickups, deliveries, returns, and other miscellaneous tasks.
  • Assist with children's schedules, activities, and transportation.
  • Manage calendars, appointments, and family logistics.
  • Research and coordinate services, projects, and other personal matters.
  • Communicate with the family and provide updates.
  • Take ownership of tasks from beginning to completion and proactively identify ways to support the family.
