Department: Hospice
Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time. Full-time preferred, but we welcome part-time applicants as well.

Schedule: Monday–Friday (with occasional weekend coverage)

Location: Lake County, MT

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide essential hands-on support and personal care to clients in their homes. Under the direction of nursing staff and a client’s individualized plan of care, you will assist with daily living activities, promote comfort and safety, and help clients maintain independence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Travel to client homes in varying weather conditions to provide scheduled care
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as: 
    • Bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene
    • Skin, mouth, and hair care
    • Bowel and bladder routines, incontinence care
  • Support clients with mobility, ambulation, and prescribed exercises
  • Assist with nutrition planning, meal preparation, and feeding
  • Perform grocery shopping and essential household tasks
  • Monitor and report changes in client condition or environment
  • Provide medication reminders (not administration)
  • Document care accurately and promptly using agency systems
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control guidelines
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current CNA certification
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and appropriate auto insurance
  • Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and follow a plan of care
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered service
