Trade Compliance Specialist - Integrated Supply Chain

Job Summary:

The Trade Compliance Specialist - Integrated Supply Chain supports daytoday import, export, and customs compliance activities across global supply chain operations. This role works closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, and external partners to help ensure compliance with applicable trade regulations by applying established policies, procedures, and controls.

The ideal candidate has foundational trade compliance knowledge and a working understanding of supply chain operations, enabling accurate execution, issue identification, and timely escalation of compliance risks.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with applicable import, export, customs, and trade regulations.

  • Support compliance with applicable import, export, customs, and trade regulations under established company policies and procedures.

  • Assist in integrating trade compliance requirements into supply chain processes, including supplier onboarding, product setup, manufacturing workflows, and logistics activities.

  • Support tariff and duty analysis by gathering data for landed cost calculations and assisting Finance and Supply Chain teams with accurate reporting.

  • Perform tariff classification and countryoforigin determinations using established guidelines, with review by senior compliance professionals as required.

  • Assist with identification and tracking of tariff exposure, including customs duties and applicable special tariffs.

  • Support trade compliance activities for projects and programs by identifying potential compliance considerations and escalating risks appropriately.

  • Maintain documentation, data integrity, and records to support customs declarations, audits, and postentry activities.

  • Assist with internal audits, broker reviews, and compliance assessments by preparing documentation and responding to information requests.

  • Monitor routine regulatory updates and communicate relevant impacts to the trade compliance team.

  • Participate in training activities and apply standardized compliance tools, processes, and systems.

  • Promote compliance awareness and adherence to established procedures across assigned stakeholder groups.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in trade compliance, customs operations, logistics, or a related supply chain role.

  • Working knowledge of HTS classification, customs valuation fundamentals, and countryoforigin concepts.

  • Experience supporting import/export operations and customs documentation processes.

  • Familiarity with global trade management or customs broker systems preferred.

  • Ability to follow defined procedures, analyze data, and identify issues requiring escalation.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively within crossfunctional teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Logistics, Finance, or a related field preferred.

  • Professional certifications (e.g., CCS, LCB) a plus but not required.
