Rate and Compensation
The successful candidate may be offered a position in either the Park Equipment Operator or the Senior Park Equipment Operator classification.
The target hourly rate for the Park Equipment Operator is between $19.75 - $22.38; depending on qualifications
The target hourly rate for the Senior Park Equipment Operator is between $21.78 - $24.68; depending on qualifications
Job Details
The Park Equipment Operator operates light and/or heavy equipment required in the upkeep and operation of the areas of responsibility. Mows and maintains turf and landscaping, prunes and trims trees and shrubs, maintains landscape beds (mulching/pulling weeds), and may assist with tree planting and other landscape renovations. Removes litter, brush, and debris in assigned areas of responsibility.
