Job description

The Taproom Manager oversees the team of bartenders, ensuring smooth daily operations and an exceptional customer experience. This role requires managing staff, inventory, scheduling, and vendor relations, alongside planning events and maintaining the facility. The manager will engage frequently with the community and deliver regular operational, performance, and financial reports. Proficiency in POS systems, inventory tracking, and scheduling software is essential to succeed in this dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage team of 6-15 staff members, including hiring, training, and supervision
  • Deliver excellent customer service and resolve conflicts promptly
  • Control inventory using manual tracking methods
  • Create and manage staff schedules with scheduling software
  • Handle cash and card transactions and maintain accurate cash records
  • Plan and execute events to drive customer engagement
  • Maintain facility cleanliness and safety standards
  • Provide daily operational reports, weekly performance reviews, and monthly financial reports
  • Engage actively with the local community to promote the taproom

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in hospitality management
  • High school diploma or equivalent
