Job description

Northfield Mancan is assisting a company in Streetsboro to fill a position as a Cold Heading & Tapping Machine Operators. This company is a recognized leader in cold-forming technology, producing precision fasteners and components for automotive and industrial applications. Their innovative solutions are used in millions of vehicles worldwide.
You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machines, to produce high-quality fasteners and precision components. This job requires technical expertise in cold heading processes, machine setup, and rigorous quality control measures. This is a 2nd shift position and must be able to train on dayshift and the starting pay will be based on experience.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a cold heading machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
Forklift certification is a preferred.
Proficiency in setting up and operating various types of cold heading machines, including single-die, multi-die, and progressive header machines.
Strong understanding of cold heading principles, including wire feeding, upsetting, extruding, and trimming processes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) symbols.
Experience with precision measuring instruments and quality inspection techniques.
Knowledge of machine tool maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
