Job description

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Operates tapping machine equipment to produce parts according to specifications and/or special instructions.

• Understands and uses drawings, manuals, and work instructions to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work-piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.

• Starts and observes on-going machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls or control media as required.

• Verifies conformance of finished work-piece to specifications.

• Inspects parts for quality and appropriate tolerance using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and comparators.

• Understand tapping sequence

• Keep tooling clean and in working order

Compensation:

$20/hr.-$25/hr.


Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

• Working experience of manufacturing environment.

• A minimum of 0-3 years related industrial machine shop experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
