Job description

EcoLube Recovery, a Pacific Northwest owned and operated company, is seeking a dedicated Package Route Driver to join our team in Puyallup, WA. As a key member of our team, you will drive a Class B truck over an established route to collect containerized waste and deliver new products to our customers. We pride ourselves on offering compliant, efficient, and cost-effective recycling alternatives to the communities where we live and work. Responsibilities
  • Collect spent antifreeze from tanks and totes and deliver new products to customer locations.
  • Organize route service events efficiently and communicate regularly with Customer Service/Dispatch.
  • Load and unload containerized waste, ensuring all containers are properly labelled.
  • Accurately complete all required customer and DOT paperwork.
  • Inform regular customers of new products or services and resolve service complaints professionally.
  • Maintain cleanliness and good operating order of the collection truck.
  • Comply with all ELR safety and environmental policies and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years’ experience driving Class B vehicles preferred.
  • 1-2 year’s route-based driving experience highly preferred.
  • Valid Class B CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission.
  • Basic operating knowledge of computers, including basic Office suite.
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and organization skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in English.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Compensation

**$1500 Sign On Bonus**
The pay range for this position is $28-30/hr. This position is also eligible for quarterly bonuses in accordance with ELR's Safety Bonus Program.
