Summary:
Accountable to execute all proper procedures to clean all totes, trailers, tractors and peripheral equipment to meet company standards for quality control and to provide the best customer service centered quality service at the lowest possible cost. This role is accountable for ensuring that all cleaning orders as well are completed in alignment with company quality expectations as well ensuring compliance with all company policies. The IBC & Tank Wash Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that each trailer is inspected imminently after cleaning to assure that it meets company quality standards. In addition, the IBC & Tank Wash Supervisor will also perform and delegate maintenance duties as instructed by the Tank Wash Manager and Operations Manager.
Duties include (but not limited to):
  • Accountable for maintenance duties as needed
  • Accountable to ensure that all tanks and peripheral equipment and cleaning equipment are cleaned to meet proper company standards for quality control
  • Accountable for and to ensure proper cleaning of trailer/containers exteriors according to company procedures.
  • Accountable for and to ensure the proper cleaning of all external valves, pressure relief valves, vacuum relieve valves, fittings, hose connections, and hose tubes on the trailer/ container.
  • Accountable for and to ensure the proper cleaning of all totes and trailers/containers according to company procedures.
  • Accountable for and to ensure that we are maintaining customer relations through communication.
  • Responsible for the overall waste water monitoring, sampling, and controlling of water through CBSL's treatment system (reaction tank, oil skimmers, storage tanks). Including, reporting to your manager of equipment failures or any problems with the waste water.
  • Accountable for the completion and submission to the Tank Wash Manager of all cleaning and heating orders (including heating logs).
  • Ensure that each cleaning order is completed correctly per company instructions.
    • Ensure that each cleaning order is signed by the cleaner performing that clean.
  • Accountable for personal and employee compliance with all company policies including:
    • Quality Cleaning Policies
    • Respirator Policy
    • All CBSL Safety Policies (enforcement of rules)
    • Confined Space Entry Policy (including fall protection)
    • Hazardous Waste Disposal Policy (capturing of all hazardous heel in IBC & Tank Wash dept.)
  • Accountable for and ensuring that we are inspecting each tote and trailer/container after cleaning to ensure that it meets company quality standards.
  • Accountable for performing any additional duties instructed by IBC & Tank Wash Manager or Operations Manager.
  • Accountable for optimizing a one to two day turn around on all containers, a one day turn around on all tank trailers, customer demands with tote needs and for the proper fitting of TOD boxes by customer required times.

Job Requirements Include:
  • Tank Cleaning Experience Preferred
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Supervisory Experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of DOT, HOS & FMCSA standards
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs. Overhead
  • Position requires frequent standing, bending and walking
  • Must be able to withstand weather conditions
