Today Tanglewood annually draws over 350,000 visitors. Each season offers not only a vast quantity of music, but also a vast range of musical forms and styles, all of it presented with a regardforartistic excellence that makes the festival unique.
About the Role
We areseekingfriendly, confident, service-oriented professionals to join our Front of House team at Tanglewood. This role plays a keypartin creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for all patrons by providing exceptional customer service, supporting event operations, andassistingwith leadership during performances. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, comfortable guiding others, and eager to contribute to the collaborative efforts that bring Tanglewood concerts to life.
Assumea rotatinghigherleadership role to further supportthe Front of House Managersforwell-attendanceconcerts.Occasionally manageevents such as Open Rehearsals,Tanglewood Music Center Chamber Music performances, Tanglewood Learning Center events, and othersindependently.
Interact with staff at all levels including Guides, Gate attendants, Sheriffs, medical personnel, and Visitor Center.
Maintain knowledge of policies including, but not limited to Disability/Access Guide, Service Animals, and children 5 and under, and food inside the concert halls.
Required Education and Experience
Pay Rate Range: $20.00 - $20.50
