Job Description

Responsibilities: 
The Controls Engineer takes ownership for deliverables and collaborates with internal stakeholders, ensuring productivity enhancement and execution excellence. The Controls Engineer owns the production Data Acquisition/ Control systems and is responsible for the system from the Operator interface, to the machine application codes, to the data retrieval and storage, The Controls Engineer will improve and update PLC hardware and software for process I/O on production equipment. The Controls Engineer will ensure machine HMI is adequate and effective. The Controls Engineer will modify the HMI to facilitate Poke Yoke and process reliability. The Controls Engineer will be responsible for the interface software and data storage system for all process control data. The Controls Engineer will create and maintain a system for revision change control on all automated programs. The Controls Engineer promotes a culture of customer centricity, innovation and continuous improvement in people, technical and process capability development using the Six Sigma tools. 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 
Minimum Bachelor in Electrical Engineering , Computer Engineering, or similar discipline with 3-5 years of relevant experience 
3-5 years Automation/ Control development using commercially available development platform such as Wonderware. 
PLC programming experience 
Process Control experience desirable. 
Six Sigma Green Belt preferred 
Highly Motivated Self-Starter Effective time management skills to meet deadlines 
For export compliance, the candidate must be a US Citizen 
Demonstrated experience in machine control or process development and data acquisition, project management, APQP principles, and statistical analysis 
Demonstrated experience in progressively challenging and Responsible roles. 
US citizen required - ITAR 
Work Schedule: M-F 1st shift (Flexible on Start & End Time)
