Guided by a mission to foster physical and mental wellness, education, socioeconomic development, and cultural preservation, TCC seeks to advance tribal self-determination and unity. The organization balances traditional Native values with contemporary challenges to deliver health and social services to over 10,000 Alaska Natives across a vast 235,000-square-mile region. TCC operates with a vision of creating healthy, strong, and unified tribes.

Role Description

This is a full-time, remote role for a Fund Accountant. The Fund Accountant will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring accurate fund accounting, maintaining NAV calculations, generating financial reports, and supporting finance-related activities. Day-to-day duties include reconciling accounts, managing fund allocations, adhering to compliance standards, and collaborating with key stakeholders to achieve financial transparency and accuracy.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in preparing Financial Statements, including accurate analysis and reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of Fund Accounting and fund allocation processes.
  • Experience with Financial Reporting and maintaining compliance with relevant guidelines.
  • Ability to calculate and manage NAV (Net Asset Value) effectively.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and practices, with a background in Finance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus.
  • Experience in non-profit or tribal organizations is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
