Job description

Talon Air is looking to add a strong Captain to the team for a Challenger 604 position.

We are a Part 135 operator based in Farmingdale, NY operating a fleet of 40+ aircraft including Global 6000/5000, Gulfstream 550/450, GV, G-IVSP, Challenger 604/605, Challenger 3500, Falcon 2000, Hawker 4000, and G200 platforms. We have been operating for over 25 years and have built a stable, long-term platform for both our clients and pilots. Most of our pilots are home-based and we airline to/from the aircraft for each rotation.

We offer real mobility across the fleet, with a clear path into larger cabin aircraft. There is also opportunity to move into Part 91 accounts, check airman roles, and other leadership positions. You're not locked into one seat or one type unless you want to be.

Total compensation is $200,000+, along with full benefits (401k match, medical, dental, etc.) and a consistent 12/8 schedule.

Duties & Responsibilities Safe and efficient flight operations for domestic and international trip assignments operating under 14 CFR Part 91 and Part 135 regulations while maintaining a high level of customer service. Maintain a high degree of crew coordination, performing duties in a professional, efficient, and cordial manner at all times. Greeting of passengers and assistance with passenger seating and luggage storage Conduct passenger briefings and respond to passenger requests and needs Adhere to the duties and responsibilities stated in all company procedures manuals. Maintain a current first class medical certificate as required by Talon Air policy and notify the company if a medical (physical or mental) condition may impair the ability to perform flight duties. Perform other duties as assigned Required Skills Must be a team player & work well in a team environment Working knowledge of all Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to FAR Part 135, and Part 91. Thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO, & other international flight operations regulations Strong Organizational Skills & Advanced Multi-tasking Abilities Strong interpersonal, verbal/written and presentation skills are necessary to perform job at the expected level Computer skills necessary to operate word processing, iPads, email and web-based and/or mobile device applications
