Drum & Quill is a legendary historic pub in a landmark building in the heart of Old Town Pinehurst. Authentic pubs were the bedrock of a young nation because they were traditional establishments that provided travelers with the comforts of food, drink, local music, a room, and maybe feeding their horses. Locals and visitors love our authentic pub experience, and we are the undisputed leader in the \Authentic Pub Experience\ and have been voted \Most Authentic Pub\ 3 years in 2021, 2022, and 2023 by the local paper and two years in a row in Sandhills Magazine.

This Bartender Apprentice position is intended to go to Full Time after a week for the right Experienced Bartender. Do people applaud when you muddle the fruit & bitters to make an Old Fashioned? Do you make a Martini so good that there is a line to get into where you are a bartender? Do you also have the ability to wait on tables so well that people think you're a rockstar? Are you a great bartender and a great waiter or waitress - a virtual double threat? A good job candidate must be able to perfectly prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, which includes mixing ingredients to prepare classic and innovative cocktails. They also need to keep the bar clean and well-organized and ensure it is always fully stocked.
