Great Big Game Show is opening in Atlanta at The Battery in April! Tentative start date of April 11th for training!THE ROLE

Great Big Game Show Hosts are world-class hospitality experts who genuinely love people, thrive in high-energy environments, and take pride in creating unforgettable guest experiences.

As a Host, you’ll lead guests through our live, hour-long game show experiences, where teams compete in 8-10 fast-paced mini-games involving physical challenges, trivia, luck, and skill. You’ll introduce each game, deliver fun commentary, track points, and ultimately crown a winning team, all while making every guest feel seen, celebrated, and included. This is a guest-facing, performance-based role where energy, confidence, and care for others matter. Hosts set the tone for the entire experience, from the first introduction to the final celebration.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Guest Experience & Hosting
  • Lead groups of 2-14 guests through live game shows

  • Deliver upbeat, conversational introductions

  • Introduce each mini-game clearly and enthusiastically

  • Improvise fun, family-friendly commentary for guests of all ages

  • Track points, award winners, and celebrate with guests

  • Deliver a clear, engaging outro recap of the experience

  • Resolve service failures immediately and graciously

  • Check in guests for their game show and prepare them for fun!


Operations & Team Support
  • Use Host software and studio UI to operate game shows

  • Ensure studios are reset accurately and efficiently using setup sheets

  • Maintain cleanliness of games and the GBGS facility

  • Restock inventory and complete required reports

  • Use a company iPhone to capture exciting guest moments and create/send highlight videos

  • Maintain excellent time management to stay on schedule for assigned games

REQUIREMENTS

  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to stand and host for extended periods (up to 4-5 game shows per shift)

  • Comfort with extended public speaking and guest interaction

  • Ability to improvise appropriate, professional commentary

  • Strong verbal communication skills

  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as cleaning, lifting 30-40 lbs, bending, crawling, painting, and minor repairs

  • Ability to reset game components within specific timeframes
