Hiring ASAP: Heavy Duty Mechanic (Power Gen / HVAC focus) | Saskatoon, SK | $40–$46/hr

Hi everyone – I'm recruiting with TalentSphere and we need a strong HD Mechanicin Saskatoon right away (ideally starting within the next 3 weeks).

The - RoleWe're looking for an independent, hands-on Heavy Duty Mechanic who is comfortable working both in the shop and as a field tech. You'll focus on maintenance and repairs of diesel engines, power generation equipment, HVAC systems, and related mechanical systems.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems
  • Working independently in both shop and on-site/field environments
  • Completing service documentation and reporting equipment condition
  • Occasional customer-site visits and equipment demonstrations
  • Mentoring junior techs when needed
Ideal Candidate
  • Strong Heavy Duty mechanical experience(this is the primary focus)
  • Power Generation experience is a big plus
  • Journeyman or Red Seal certification preferred
  • 3–5+ years diagnosing and repairing diesel engines / HD equipment
  • Comfortable reading schematics and working independently
  • Own the tools for the trade
  • Valid driver's licence with clean abstract
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
