Key Responsibilities

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor at Tree of Life, you will primarily serve clients experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, mild to severe trauma, and relationship issues. Your empathetic approach will help create a safe space for clients to express their thoughts openly, enabling them to embark on their healing journeys.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a valid state-issued mental health license, such as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills paired with superior abilities in communication, fostering trusting client relationships.
  • Exhibiting empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental demeanor while working with clients from varied backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in time management and organizational skills to handle diverse caseloads effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in teletherapy and remote counseling practices is highly preferred.
  • A strong background in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention techniques will be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000, based on level of experience and caseload.
