About the Company

Our client is one of the largest and most respected specialty contractors in the United States, generating approximately $3 billion in annual revenue and delivering some of the country's most complex commercial, industrial, and infrastructure construction projects. With a reputation built on innovation, operational excellence, and investing in its people, the company continues to set the standard for excellence across the construction industry.

As the organization continues to grow, leadership is making a significant investment in talent strategy to ensure its workforce remains a competitive advantage. This newly elevated leadership opportunity will play a critical role in shaping how the company attracts, develops, retains, and advances its people across the Mid-Atlantic region.

  • Design and implement career architecture that creates clear growth pathways throughout the organization.
  • Develop talent optimization strategies that align workforce capabilities with long-term business objectives.
  • Partner with executive leadership to strengthen succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
  • Create programs that identify, assess, and develop high-potential employees.
  • Build scalable performance management and talent review processes.
  • Collaborate with operations leaders to align workforce planning with business growth.
  • Utilize workforce analytics and talent data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Enhance employee engagement, retention, and internal mobility initiatives.
  • Champion a culture focused on leadership development, continuous learning, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on talent strategy and organizational design.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in talent management, organizational development, leadership development, or human resources.
  • Experience leading enterprise talent initiatives within large, multi-location organizations.
  • Demonstrated success designing career frameworks, succession planning programs, and leadership development strategies.
  • Strong understanding of talent optimization, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and employee development.
  • Experience partnering directly with executive leadership on strategic people initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage workforce data to drive business decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or a related field is preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary targeted around $250,000, commensurate with experience
  • Performance-based annual bonus
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid vacation and holidays
  • Executive-level leadership visibility
