Job Description

โ€ข Conduct individual assessment to provide career guidance and counseling to job seeker; with a focus on those who are WIOA eligible.

โ€ข Provide detailed case management for each customer to assist in preparation for employment that leads to self-sufficiency;

โ€ข Assist customers in maintaining eligibility for services by ensuring attendance at required training/activities and workshops and performing job searches;

โ€ข Authorize and coordinate supportive services such as childcare, transportation, etc., and track obligations of funds;

โ€ข Maintain existing contacts to community resources and develop new ones to further the goals of the program and resulting in success to customers;

โ€ข Provide labor market information to all customers;

โ€ข Ensure contract deliverables and individual goals are met;

โ€ข Outreach employers, agencies, non-profits and organizations to place eligible participants in a subsidized employment activity.

โ€ข Follow-up participant progress in subsidized employment activities, and submit payroll information.

โ€ข Provide weekly and monthly reports on progress of the program, expenditures and participant's employment and support services.

โ€ข Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

โ€ข Preferred Associate's degree; required H.S. Diploma with at least one year of Sales/Customer Service experience

โ€ข Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in an individual or group setting;

โ€ข Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

โ€ข Strong speaking and organizational/time management skills

โ€ข Ability to maintain a high level of confidentially

โ€ข Must be detailed oriented and timely in meeting deadlines, goals and objectives

โ€ข Ability to address and solve customer inquiries and/or concerns

โ€ข Ability to conduct Workshops/Orientations

โ€ข Current driver's license (with low-risk driver rating) and automobile liability insurance required.
