What you’ll do: 

  • Own the full cycle recruiting process to include preparing, sourcing, screening, selecting, hiring, and onboarding  
  • Attract passive and active talent by creating excitement about SBS while building meaningful relationships with prospective job candidates 
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to deeply understand the needs of our business and discerningly identify A-Players who meet those needs 
  • Develop foundational recruiting processes that are fast, efficient, and positive at all stages 
  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to meet current or anticipated staffing needs while working with the hiring managers to clarify documented requirements that will eliminate unlawful, biased hiring decisions. 
  • Act as an ambassador and professional recruiter as you build a network of contacts and organizations that our talent may congregate or institutions that educate/influence in the fields of cybersecurity 
  • Analyze recruiting data to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve hiring practices while maintaining current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) 
  • Create job requisitions, knockout questions, and job descriptions that clearly define essential job qualifications and responsibilities 
  • Screen and prep candidates for interviews while keeping them informed of the status of their application, or where they are at within the hiring process 
  • Interview scheduling across many calendars 
  • Assist in negotiating job offers 

What you’ll bring: 

If you have the following qualifications, this job would be a great fit for you! 

  • 2+ years of cybersecurity and or technology-industry recruiting experience, with a proven track record of hiring top-tier talent, require
  • Familiarity with a variety of Talent Acquisition and recruiting KPIs 
  • Experience with or knowledge of AI/ML preferred
  • Expertise in working with HRIS (PayCom preferred), LinkedIn Recruiter, Hiring Assistant, ZoomInfo OS applicant tracking systems, and cutting-edge recruiting tools
  • Perform searches for qualified candidates using sources such as computer databases, networking, job fairs, or employee referrals
  • Desire to solve problems and think creatively
  • Document and implement a successful process to manage talent acquisition
  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational skill
  • Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and potential job candidates
  • Partner with hiring managers to assist in filling urgent positions with top-qualified candidates 

Additional Details 

  • This is a hybrid-remote, full-time position out of our New Sioux Falls, SD Office. (Onboarding may take place in our Madison, SD office)
  • This role would require occasional travel.
  • While SBS does offer a flexible work environment, the standard days and hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CT.
  • On rare occasions, this position may require some after-work hours due to workload or a tight deadline.
