OverviewOur team in Sudbury is looking for a Talent & Development (HR) Coordinator!

Responsibilities

  • Front line contact for team member questions.
  • Responsible for the administration of payroll and Attendance Management.
  • Assists in the identification and analysis of trends. Communicates observations and provides suggestions for incident reduction measures.
  • Participate and support in the recruitment, hiring and onboarding of team members.
  • Employee engagement.
  • Events coordination – ordering items, food, setup, posters, cleanup (town halls, lunches, recognition and service events).
  • Investigate employee issues.
  • Assist with issuing discipline (such as verbal warnings) as per the CBA.
  • Assist with H&S and Return to Work for injured team members.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of administrative or HR Admin/Assistant/Coordinator experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Completion of HR Degree or Certification is highly preferred.
  • Payroll experience is an asset.
  • Exceptional coordination and time management skills required.
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Superior organizational, administrative and project planning skills.
  • Self-directed with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills to deal with internal and external contacts.
  • Able to work well with a variety of people and maintain confidentiality.
  • SAP, Kronos and Workday knowledge is an asset..
