BluePearl Pet Hospital in Northeast Portland (Hollywood) is hiring an experience Veterinary Technician to work in our Critical Care department!Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

We are hiring an exceptional Veterinary Technician to join our team. If you enjoy patient care and working in a fast-paced, challenging, interesting, and collaborative environment, This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work nights and weekends and holidays.

As a n ICU/Critical Care Technician, you will:
  • Triage and obtain patient history
  • Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
  • Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
  • Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
  • Work along side other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
  • Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
  • Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
