Job description

Shape the future of talent at Salute

At Salute, we don’t have employees — we have team members. Our culture is built on transparency, collaboration, and a shared commitment to excellence. It’s what enables us to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients across technical, IT, and data centre environments.

We’re now building a new, forward-thinking Talent Management team — and this is your chance to be part of it from the ground up.

If you’re passionate about early careers, leadership development, and creating meaningful career pathways, this is an opportunity to make real impact.

The Opportunity

As a Talent Management Associate, you’ll play a key role in building a future-ready workforce.

This isn’t a traditional recruitment role. You’ll work across the full talent lifecycle — from attracting early-career talent to developing future leaders — helping shape how we grow, engage, and retain our people.

You’ll collaborate closely with business leaders, HR, Talent Acquisition, and People & Culture teams to design and deliver strategies that drive capability, engagement, and long-term success.

What You’ll Be Doing

Early Careers & Talent Development

  • Support the delivery of early careers programmes (graduates, apprentices, interns)
  • Help build relationships with universities and training providers
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive candidate experience
  • Assist with workforce planning and future talent pipelines

Workforce & Career Development

  • Support the development of career frameworks and progression pathways
  • Help coordinate mentoring, coaching, and career development activities

Leadership Development & Succession

  • Assist in the delivery of leadership development programmes, including facilitating sessions where appropriate
  • Support talent reviews and 9-box grid processes
  • Help identify high-potential talent and track development plans
  • Work with leaders to support succession planning activities

Performance, Engagement & Retention

  • Support the implementation of modern performance management practices
  • Assist in analysing engagement and retention trends
  • Contribute to initiatives that enhance the employee experience

Employer Brand & Talent Marketing

  • Support employer branding activity within early-career and technical markets
  • Assist with social media, events, and recruitment campaigns
  • Represent Salute at careers fairs and industry events as confidence grows

Continuous Improvement

  • Use data and insights to support improvements in talent strategies
  • Stay informed on trends in talent management and early careers
  • Support wider People & Culture initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience or exposure to Talent Management, ideally in tech, engineering, or infrastructure environments
  • Some experience supporting leadership or talent development activities, workforce planning, or early careers
  • Comfortable facilitating meetings and engaging stakeholders, while also being hands-on with coordination and administration
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, global environment

Why Join Us?

We believe work should support your life — not compete with it. That’s why we offer benefits designed around you:

  • Time to recharge: 8 company-paid holidays, 2 floating holidays, plus PTO
  • Health from day one: Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Peace of mind: Employee Assistance Programme available to all
  • Financial future: 401(k) with immediate 100% vesting, 3% employer match + 50% match on the next 2%
  • Wellbeing support: HSA, mental health resources, gym discounts
  • Extra protection: Legal services, insurance options, and more
