Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist - Technical

PURPOSE AND DESCRIPTION:

Leverage expertise with both inbound and outbound recruiting to acquire top talent while delivering world-class candidate and hiring manager experiences throughout the process. Evaluate talent and fit, understand internal client’s needs, roles, capabilities, and goals, and communicate at all levels in the organization to influence and ensure the best possible organizational decisions and hires. This position will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager and will work closely with the HR Business Partners as well as wide variety of onsite hiring managers.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage full life cycle recruiting.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and hiring managers on all Talent Acquisition activities.
  • Conduct Strategy (intake) sessions with hiring managers to understand the position’s responsibilities,
  • education, technical and leadership skills required.
  • Continually refine the requirements and job descriptions and postings in order to increase talent
  • attraction.
  • Leverage business acumen and market data to make recommendations to leadership on best practices
  • and offer recommendations.
  • Utilize your existing network, available recruiting tools and technologies to research, identify, and source pre-qualified prospective candidates.
  • Create successful sourcing campaigns and provide data-driven recommendations to team members and
  • key stakeholders.
  • Screen prospective candidates by reviewing applications, profiles, and resumes as well as conducting
  • preliminary phone interviews prior to presenting to hiring managers for consideration.
  • Coordinate and contribute to the new hire pre-board and onboarding process as required.
  • Adhere to the established talent acquisition process and provide ongoing support and guidance to
  • hiring managers to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for all involved as well as timely
  • delivery of the hiring outcome.
  • Provide input on the continuous improvement of the Talent Acquisition process through feedback and
  • recommendations based on industry/market trends and candidate feedback.
  • Comply with company policies and employment laws/regulations in conducting recruiting and hiring
  • activities.
  • Support diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Lead/coordinate various projects and initiatives related to talent attraction.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


1. SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

  • Demonstrated skills extracting and compiling data in support of recruitment metrics and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Federal, State and Local labor laws.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues
  • Ability to understand and continually improve business processes and systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, strong excel skills preferred

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Communications, HR, or related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum ten years of full life cycle recruiting experience preferred, preferably with a minimum of 5 years doing so in a dynamic, high-volume operational hiring environments (e.g., manufacturing, automation, etc.).
  • Previous engineering/technical recruitment experience
  • Experience conducting both inbound (attract applicants) and outbound (directly identify and engage passive prospects) recruiting activities.
  • Experience successfully managing 30+ concurrent requisitions.
  • Experience working with recruiting and candidate related tools and systems, including applicant tracking systems, CRMs, resume databases, and internet sourcing tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Boolean search strings, Handshake, job boards, social media, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining effective relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
