Job description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Talent Acquisition Process Excellence Manager to join our Cummins Inc. team in Columbus, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Drive process excellence initiatives that enhance recruiting efficiency, quality, compliance, and overall business performance.

  • Lead the development and execution of Talent Acquisition operational roadmaps that align with strategic priorities and transformation goals.

  • Optimize recruiting workflows through data-driven improvements that elevate effectiveness and standardization across the function.

  • Implement innovative technologies, automation solutions, and AI-enabled capabilities that improve hiring outcomes and scalability.

  • Develop performance dashboards and scorecards that provide leaders with actionable insights for informed decision-making.

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen Talent Acquisition capabilities and ensure alignment across programs and initiatives.

  • Advance continuous improvement efforts by identifying process gaps, benchmarking best practices, and implementing sustainable solutions.

  • Influence organizational success by translating talent intelligence, market trends, and workforce analytics into strategic recommendations.

  • Lead the US & Canada Talent Acquisition Process Excellence roadmap, ensuring alignment with global standards, governance frameworks, and regional business priorities.

  • Conduct Talent Acquisition maturity assessments to identify opportunities for process enhancement, capability development, technology adoption, and operational effectiveness.

  • Design and maintain executive scorecards, recruiting dashboards, and performance reporting tools that provide visibility into productivity, quality, compliance, and business outcomes.

  • Partner with global process excellence and innovation teams to pilot, implement, and scale emerging technologies, automation solutions, and AI-enabled recruiting capabilities.

  • Utilize workforce analytics, talent intelligence, labor market insights, and data visualization techniques to support strategic workforce planning and hiring decisions.

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to Talent Acquisition and HR leadership on operating model optimization, process standardization, and future-state recruiting capabilities.

  • Demonstrate preferred expertise in continuous improvement methodologies, supplier performance management, operational governance, and quality-focused program execution.

  • Exhibit preferred strengths in collaboration, innovation, stakeholder influence, global perspective, effective communication, self-awareness, and driving results through uncertainty and change.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

  • Demonstrated expertise in process optimization, operational excellence, and driving transformational improvements within Talent Acquisition or HR functions.

  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate complex data, workforce insights, and performance metrics into meaningful business outcomes.

  • Proven project and change leadership skills, with success managing cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution.

  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, enabling effective partnership with stakeholders across all organizational levels.

  • A forward-thinking mindset combined with strong business acumen, innovation, adaptability, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • A college or university degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.

  • Certifications in process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma are highly desirable.
