Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team, supporting ICONIQ's Venture and Growth businesses. This individual will serve as a trusted talent advisor to investment professionals and business leaders, leading full-cycle recruiting efforts across a broad range of functions, including Portfolio Engagement, Operations, and Support teams, as well as playing a critical role in early-career investment hiring programs, including intern, Analyst, and Associate recruiting. This role requires a combination of strategic talent partnership and exceptional execution. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable advising senior stakeholders on market strategy, managing highly competitive candidate processes, coordinating complex recruiting logistics, and ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience recruiting within Venture Capital, Growth Equity, or Private Equity environments and possess a strong understanding of investment recruiting cycles, including Investment Analyst and Associate recruiting.
What You'll Do
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting across Venture and Growth investment and business functions, from initial intake through offer and onboarding, while managing multiple high-priority searches.
  • Manage annual investment intern and Analyst recruiting programs, including candidate sourcing and assessment, offer management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Lead Venture and Growth Investment Associate hiring, partnering with business stakeholders and external recruiting partners on sourcing strategies, candidate engagement, recruiting events, interviews, stakeholder meetings, and hiring decisions.
  • Partner closely with investment professionals and business leaders as a trusted advisor, translating hiring needs into tailored recruiting strategies and providing market intelligence, talent insights, and recommendations.
  • Build and maintain high-quality talent pipelines through direct sourcing, networking, referrals, market mapping, and external search partners.
  • Drive lateral hiring across business functions, including Portfolio Operations, Portfolio Analytics, Leadership Advisory, Administrative Support, and other support teams.
  • Manage external search firms and agency relationships, ensuring quality, efficiency, and alignment with ICONIQ standards.
  • Deliver a high-touch recruiting experience and operational excellence through proactive candidate and stakeholder communication, accurate recruiting data and reporting, and continuous improvement in partnership with Human Capital colleagues.

Ideal Candidate Background
  • 7+ years of relevant full-cycle recruiting experience, with significant experience supporting Venture Capital, Growth Equity, Private Equity, or broader investment organizations.
  • Direct experience managing investment hiring processes, including familiarity with Investment Associate recruiting cycles and timelines, as well as demonstrated success recruiting across both investment and business functions.
  • Strong talent advisory and stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering effectively with senior leaders and high-performing teams and translating business needs into recruiting strategies.
  • Expertise in candidate sourcing, market mapping, and talent assessment, with a demonstrated ability to identify and engage high-caliber talent.
  • Exceptional organization and execution skills, with the ability to autonomously manage multiple concurrent searches, competing priorities, and detailed recruiting operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with strong executive presence and a highly collaborative approach.
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues across multiple offices and time zones while balancing independent ownership with close collaboration.
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools and technologies is a plus. We value team members who are curious about leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and drive innovation.

What We Offer:
  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance starting on your first day of employment.
  • Life and disability insurance coverage as well as family and wellness benefits including mental health benefits, fertility benefits, and back-up childcare.
  • A matching 401(k) program.
  • Commuter Benefits program.
  • Stipends to support wellness and hybrid working arrangements.
  • We support employees who wish to pursue professional designations/certifications and offer tuition reimbursement in addition to an allocation for books and other supplies needed for an individual's coursework.
  • Smart-casual dress code.

Location: Applicants are expected to work onsite in our San Francisco office in accordance with our hybrid working policy.
Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role, together with other compensation being offered such as a discretionary bonus, health insurance, and other perks.
