Job description

Overview

CTG is seeking to fill a Technical Data Analyst position for our client.

Location: Atlanta, GA / Charlotte, NC / Raleigh, NC — No Remote
Duration: Ongoing Contract

Duties:
  • Analyze SAS programs, macros, datasets, and business logic to support migration and modernization to Snowflake.

  • Develop and maintain Source-to-Target Mapping (STM/MapDocs), transformation logic, data lineage, and business rules.

  • Perform data profiling, data quality analysis, validation, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis.

  • Develop complex SQL, including advanced CTEs, for data analysis and validation.

  • Analyze Snowflake schemas, tables, views, data models, and database objects.

  • Analyze ETL workflows using Talend and Informatica and support ETL testing and deployment validation.

  • Validate data across source, staging, integration, Snowflake, and reporting layers.

  • Support data migration, data warehousing, reporting, analytics, and data modernization initiatives.

  • Develop or support Power BI/Tableau reports and dashboards.

  • Monitor data pipelines and support SLA/OLA reporting and performance tracking.

  • Collaborate with Data Engineers, ETL Developers, Architects, Business Analysts, and stakeholders.

  • Support SIT, UAT, production releases, post-deployment validation, and issue resolution.

  • Maintain data governance, metadata, technical documentation, data lineage, and data quality standards.
