Overview:
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support business intelligence, analytics, and application development.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders and data architects to translate requirements into scalable data models.
  • Optimize data models for Snowflake to ensure performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with ETL developers to design effective data integration and transformation pipelines.
  • Establish and enforce data modeling standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
  • Perform data profiling, analysis, and quality checks to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Support performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting of data-related issues.

Required Skills
  • 8+ years of experience in data modeling across large-scale enterprise systems.
  • Strong experience with Snowflake data warehouse design and development.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, DataStage, or similar).
  • Expertise in SQL and database concepts (relational and dimensional modeling).
