• Conducting initial clinical assessments for new clients to understand their mental health conditions and personal needs.
• Developing personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, integrating solution-focused interventions tailored to individual client circumstances.
• Implementing therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), among other proven modalities to facilitate client recovery.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical records while adhering to HIPAA and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating with a diverse treatment team to provide comprehensive care, engaging in regular case consultations and peer review meetings.
• Educating clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available resources, empowering them to take part in the healing process.
• Staying updated with the latest advancements in mental health therapy to incorporate innovative practices into your work.
• Managing a full caseload, balancing timely and effective treatment with adherence to ethical standards mandated by your licensing board.

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active license to practice as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Previous experience working within a community health setting or with a diverse demographic.
• Hands-on experience with evidence-based practices for treating depression, anxiety, and trauma.
• Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain clinical documentation.
