Staff Pharmacist - 3rd shift - Monthly Performance Bonus - No Retail Foot Traffic

Established in 2016, Tailor Made Compounding has become one of the top compounding pharmacies in the nation, dedicated to providing quality medications to patients across the country. Our mission is to provide the highest quality compounded solutions while leading the industry in compliance, safety, provider education, and customer service, thereby empowering healthcare providers with the ability to optimize the health of their patients. We work closely with physicians to solve problems for hard to source and hard to compound pharmaceuticals.

We are hiring a Staff Pharmacist for our growing team! Hours vary. The pharmacist will be primarily responsible for dispensing medications.This position is nottasked with directly compounding medications.All tasks and duties must be completed in accordance and compliance with HIPAA guidelines, State and Federal laws, and current company policies and procedures.


Pharmacist Key Responsibilities:

  1. Dispense prescribed medications, drugs and other pharmaceuticals for patient care; this position is not tasked with directly compounding medications
  2. Review prescriptions issued by physician or other authorized prescriber to assure accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients needed
  3. Direct pharmacy technicians engaged in mixing, packaging and labeling pharmaceuticals
  4. Maintains established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs
  5. Enter data such as patient name, prescribed medication and cost
  6. Assay medications to determine identity, purity and strength
  7. Instruct interns and other medical personnel on matters pertaining to pharmacy


Pharmacist Experience and Educations Requirements:

  • Requires a Doctorate Degree of Pharmacy
  • 1-2 years of pharmacist experience preferred but not required
  • Management experience preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year sterile and/or non-sterile compounding experience preferred
  • Requires a Kentucky Pharmacist License
  • Licensure in additional states is preferred, but not required
