Pay: $16.00–$18.00+ per hour
Job Description
MHTKD Child Care is seeking qualified EEC educators for our After School Program. If you are someone who enjoys working with children, is dependable, hardworking, and a positive team player, we would love to welcome you to our MHTKD Child Care community.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of verified work experience as an Educator in an EEC-licensed program
  • Verification of School Age Work Experience form outlining the above experience is required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must successfully complete the EEC Background Record Check (BRC)
  • Must meet EEC educator requirements and provide required documentation
Job Responsibilities
  • Support homework help, arts and crafts, games, activities, school vacation programs, and after school enrichment activities
  • Assist in developing lesson plans based on state requirements and student needs
  • Plan and lead activities according to the daily program schedule
  • Collaborate with educators to support student development and individual needs
  • Supervise children during indoor, outdoor, and water-play activities
  • Be comfortable participating in outdoor summer activities and various weather conditions
  • Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties, including vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, dusting, and bathroom upkeep
  • Maintain safe and healthy practices at all times
  • Follow all EEC regulations and company policies
Additional Compensation
Candidates who hold a valid 7D license, or who are interested in obtaining one as a backup driver, may be eligible for increased and negotiable pay rates based on qualifications and licensing status.
The Company may provide support with the 7D licensing process after completion of the 7D Driver Training Agreement.
Schedule
Typical regular hours are Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM, with Thursday hours extending until 6:00 PM.
Morning shifts may also be available from 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM.
Schedules are flexible and may vary based on program needs.
