Job Summary:
Big Tex Trailers is part of American Trailer World, a leading manufacturer and distributor of trailers in North America. The Pricing Analyst role focuses on optimizing retail trailer sales profitability through effective pricing strategies and comprehensive data analytics, while providing pricing guidance to division leadership and field management.
Responsibilities:
• Optimize the profitability of trailer sales and manage volume consistency under volatile pricing and/or market conditions.
• Develop and execute pricing models consistent with achieving weekly, monthly and annual performance targets.
• Identifies various trailer price surveys and competitor price information to refine pricing recommendations and market position.
• Conduct tactical analysis using large data sets to better understand performance trends, identify possible competition, and realize opportunities.
• Analyze trailer sales and margins for assigned market considering retail landscape and industry trends.
• Liaison with field management and stores to continuously identify opportunities and stay informed on market conditions.
• Evaluate store feedback and pricing adherence to ensure proper pricing, communicate field variances to division leadership.
• Perform margin and pricing analysis to support field sales initiatives.
• Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
• High Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in finance, Business, Marketing preferred
• 0-2 years’ experience with retail or equivalent experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical decision-making abilities; data focused
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred:
• Associate’s degree in finance, Business, Marketing
