Job description

The Room Service Server is responsible for delivering exceptional in-room dining experiences to our guests with professionalism, warmth, and efficiency. This role ensures timely delivery of food and beverages, accurate order handling, and a high level of guest satisfaction, in alignment with The Westgate Hotel's standards of luxury service.
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver food and beverage orders promptly to guest rooms, ensuring presentation standards are met
  • Accurately record and process guest orders via phone or tablet/POS system
  • Set up trays and carts according to hotel specifications and guest preferences
  • Retrieve trays and carts from guest rooms and hallways promptly and discreetly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the room service area and storage
  • Answer guest questions regarding the menu and make recommendations when appropriate
  • Follow proper cash-handling and payment procedures
  • Collaborate with kitchen and restaurant teams to ensure timely service and order accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Exhibit genuine hospitality and professionalism at all times
  • Overseeing all hotel amenities

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
