This position will cover a territory that covers Eastern Canada, NY, CT, MA, NJ, and ME. You will need to either currently live in this territory or able to relocate.

What's in it for you:

Thermo King Corporation is seeking aDistrict Sales Managerto join our East Region team and lead sales growth across a defined territory. In this influential role, you will shape and execute district-level sales strategies, coach and support dealer representatives, and drive strong financial performance across a diverse network of accounts. You will take ownership of dealer engagement, including overseeing a network of partners, implementing strategic customer plans, managing the product pipeline, and leading the forecasting process to ensure consistent, profitable results.

With a focus on leadership, analytical strength, and sales excellence, you will guide dealers to higher performance, strengthen customer relationships, and capitalize on opportunities in both new and existing product lines. You will work closely with the District Service Manager for this region and develop and execute plans that accelerate revenue growth, enhance dealer capability, capture competitive accounts, and elevate Thermo King's presence in the marketplace.

What you will do:

  • Train, coach, and develop dealers to ensure high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.

  • In conjunction with the dealer representatives, develop and manage the annual operating plans for the district including a regular cadence for AOP updates and communication.

  • Working through the dealer distribution channel in the district, develop profitable business with new and existing customers.

  • Utilize solid understanding of the customer's business to assess needs and suggest solutions utilizing Thermo King products and services.

  • Provide marketplace feedback, including competitive information, customer expectations, industry trends, etc. to internal stakeholders for continued market understanding and product development.

  • Follow and coach the sales process to ensure excellent customer experience and develop/maintain pipeline and forecast management.

  • Monitor KPIs and sales metrics to ensure targets are achieved or exceeded. Ie;Tableau

  • Report regularly on district performance, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy to Regional Director.

  • In conjunction with dealer support, build strong relationships with the end users/owners.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred and five years of sales experience (sales coaching,product training, etc).

  • Preferred experience in refrigeration orHVAC sales.

  • Knowledge ofSalesforcepreferred.

  • Experience managing to Annual Operating Plans (AOP) and directing and managing product pipeline and forecasting processes.

  • Territory management& prioritizing key activities that drive revenue achievement.

  • Strong business and financial acumen experience.

  • Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations and must be able and eligible to travel to Canada.

$106,200.00 - $161,210.00
