Job Title: Tableau Developer 

Location: Charlotte NC 

Duration: 18 months 


Description: 

BI TOOLS DEVELOPER - 

  • Provides the highest technical expertise for the planning, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and control of the organization's server-class databases. 
  •  Handles and leads the most complex or critical data/ database management initiatives that typically involve multiple disciplines and multiple business groups, including responsibility for database architecture, design, integration, and/or data modeling. 
  •  As the recognized technical expert, consults extensively with multiple client groups to provide strategic solutions, influencing long-range internal and enterprise-level data/ database architecture and management strategies. 
  •  Serves as a consultant on technological advancements. 
  •  Provides oversight, mentoring and leadership to less experienced staff. 
  •  May represent the organization as an external spokesperson. 
  • 10+ years database design and administration experience. 

 Additonal Job Details: 

Must have deep knowledge and expertise in Tableau, Data analytics and Data visualization 

Experience with Tableau Desktop & Server Version 9 or higher. 

Ability to collaborate with other team members on similar projects and across various Tableau skill levels 

Create visualizations and dashboards using multiple charting options leveraging large datasets with limited guidance. 

Ability to tell stories using data and communicate complicated ideas simply. 

Experience working in a fast paced, dynamic environment 

Experience with Agile development methodology. 

Experience writing complex calculations and parameters within Tableau \

Strong Data Security skillset. 

Ability to adapt to frequently changing requirements and priorities 

Experience with training users via multiple methods- demos, webinar, classroom. 

Experience using formal gathering requirement processes 

Establish standards and best practices with tableau architecture, templates. 

Experience determining Data Strategy to use extract vs live connections, scheduling data refreshes, and creating efficiencies when dealing with large data sets 

Qualifications

Experience with Tableau Desktop & Server Version 9 or higher

Strong Data Security skillset
