Job description

Role Summary Tableau Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise analytics dashboards to support data initiatives within an upgrade project. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, secure, and performant visual analytics that translate business requirements into actionable insights. The hourly rate is $70/hr to $80/hr.

Key Responsibilities Gather and analyze analytics requirements in collaboration with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders. Design and develop intuitive, interactive Tableau dashboards for multiple business functions. Integrate Tableau with enterprise data sources, including databases, datasets, spreadsheets, and cloud platforms.

Ensure data accuracy, reliability, and timely refreshes across all dashboards. Optimize Tableau workbooks and dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability. Document dashboard designs, data sources, and development processes.

Provide user training, support, and knowledge transfer to promote adoption and effective use. Implement security controls, user permissions, and compliance with data privacy and governance standards. Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance dashboards as requirements evolve.

Collaborate with IT, data engineers, and project teams to align on data strategy and delivery. Continuously improve dashboard functionality by leveraging new Tableau features and industry best practices. Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.

5+ years of experience as a Tableau Developer. Proven experience supporting enterprise-scale data and analytics initiatives. Strong proficiency with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.

Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases. Experience with data integration tools and cloud data platforms preferred. Ability to translate business requirements into effective analytics and dashboards.

Experience implementing data security, quality assurance, and compliance controls. Tableau certifications (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist, Tableau Certified Data Analyst) are an asset. Core Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

High attention to data accuracy and quality. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proactive approach to troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
