Job description

A multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering, and construction firm is seeking a TAB Operations Manager to lead the successful execution of Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing projects throughout Hawaii and Guam. In this leadership role, you will oversee project delivery, technician development, client relationships, and operational excellence while ensuring compliance with NEBB standards. This position is based in Hawaii or Guam and requires travel between islands.

Your Day Includes

  • Managing TAB projects from initiation through completion, ensuring quality, accuracy, and client satisfaction.
  • Leading, training, and mentoring TAB Technicians in NEBB procedures, HVAC systems, and equipment operation.
  • Reviewing, certifying, and approving TAB reports and field measurements for accuracy and compliance.
  • Managing equipment calibration programs to maintain NEBB and project-specific requirements.
  • Representing the company at project meetings and directing day-to-day field operations.

Must Haves

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

  • Current NEBB Certified Professional (CP),
  • Current AABC TAB Engineer (TBE),
  • TABB TAB Supervisor certification in good standing, with the ability to obtain NEBB CP certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 4+ years of supervisory TAB experience.
  • AS degree in Engineering Technology and 6+ years of supervisory experience in TAB or building systems.
  • 8+ years of TAB experience, including at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
