Job description

Your mission

Product Testing - Fit & Wear (Execution Under Functional Governance) - 50%

  • Ensure clear understanding and implementation on latest official guidelines related to Fit & Wear product testing across T1 supplier-based product test centers (PTC) on methodologies, standards, and guidance defined by the Asia Product Testing Manager.
  • Drive and monitor the setup, standardization, and operational rollout of the T1 PTC Fit & Wear Testing centers, ensuring consistent execution among all test centers in China.
  • Train, coach, and support Factory Product Testing teams to correctly apply PUMA testing standards, evaluation criteria, and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure testing execution, feedback, and judgment calls from T1 Testing teams follow PUMA guidelines and are completed within agreed timelines.
  • Coordinate and support seasonal fit and wear testing from Development, Engineering to Production stages to ensure high report accuracy.
  • Participate in product review meetings to identify potential risks at early stages and launch necessary testing to support corrective actions.
  • Conduct training for T1 Supplier Test Analysts on fit and wear reporting system tools and feedback questionnaires.
  • Analyze and report consumer feedback data from China market to Asia Product Testing Manager.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation of testing execution, reports, evaluations, and data analysis from T1 PTCs.
  • Support and organize translation of internal technical documents and SOPs to Chinese Language.
  • Provide regular reporting to PUMA Asia Product Testing Manager on execution status, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Laboratory Management (Execution Under Functional Governance) - 50%

  • Ensure clear understanding and implementation of the latest official guidelines related to T1 Laboratory Management across T1 suppliers based on methodologies, standards and guidance defined by the PUMA Laboratory Manager.
  • Support PUMA Development, Manufacturing Operations and Quality Assurance teams on product testing requests.
  • Support PUMA T1 Laboratory audits to ensure compliance according to PUMA guidelines and follow up on implementation of corrective actions with a timely and sustainable closure.
  • Evaluate laboratory processes, testing methods, equipment calibration, safety compliance, documentation, and personnel competence, maintain records and follow up on progress.
  • Organize and support product test trials for internal standards and method upgrade.
  • Conduct training for T1 Laboratories where necessary for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure laboratories maintain accurate, traceable, and audit-ready records in line with PUMA requirements.
  • Support and organize translation of internal technical documents and SOPs to Chinese Language.
  • Provide regular reporting to PUMA Laboratory Manager on execution status, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Your talent
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Material Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent education.
  • Minimum of 5 yearsโ€™ work experience in product testing (Fit & Wear) and/or laboratory management, ideally in an international footwear brand sourcing or supplier-based environment.
  • Strong conceptual thinking, high learning agility, open minded, good interpersonal skills, Passionate. Patient. Collaborator.
  • Good at Windows, Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in Chinese and English.
