Job description

Job Description The selected applicant will provide project support, project scheduling, and analysis to multiple projects and efforts under the Aviation Solutions Division, supporting an external customer located in St, Inigoes, MD and Patuxent River, MD. The individual will also act as a liaison on behalf of Senior Leadership, Task Leaders and Project Managers. The selected candidate will sit onsite at BAE Systems facility in California, MD and at customer site at Patuxent River River Naval Air Station. Primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist Project Managers and Gov't customers with Project Scheduling
Assist Senior Project Analyst with daily tasking
Perform tasks supporting the Project Management processes of initiating, organizing, integrating, planning, managing & controlling, developing and completing projects or program schedules.
Track progress of project schedules, technical and/or new business performance objectives.
Support new business development activities and participate in developing strategic scheduling plans for assigned business area.
Create project schedules using Microsoft Project. Maintain project schedules for all tasking under the Aviation Solutions Division. Work directly with the Gov't customer to compile and impliment project scheduling needs and inputs. Facilitate project scheduling meetings with various Project Managers and Governement Project Leads.
Present project schedules and make live updates during meetings.
Attend to a variety of administrative matters such as customer status meetings, IPTs, etc.
Control and maintain a wide variety of records (stored both manually and electronically).
Compile technical, financial and other project data using various database programs for inclusion in reports and presentation materials.
Assist in the development of project reports and contract deliverables while meeting deadlines.
Coordinate between the Project Manager(s) and Contract Administrators for the tasking and monitoring of Subcontractor's performance on prime contract. Will work to compile metrics relating to project success, attributes and productivity and adherence to defined process and will track costs and performance to ensure project goals and objectives are met. The selected candidate may also serve as a resource to project managers and project leaders in assisting them with implementing process and efforts within the project(s). Will also coordinate activities such as meetings, arrangements, and travel between project manager, customer and outside parties. There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Associate Degree and 5 years of related experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of related experience OR Masters Degree and 1 year of related experience
Project Analyst/Project Support experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Adobe Acrobat
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers at all levels of the organization
Ability to efficiently handle shifting priorities

Full-Time Salary Range: $67406 - $114590 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
