Job description: Systems Integration Advisor - (4838714) Location : Eden Prairie MN Contract : 6+ Months Job Summary/Description: Deploy application code to staging and production hardware environments using ITIL change control processes. Implement application and systems monitoring and from those, establish baselines and tuning them to reduce false alerts and identify opportunities for improving system performance. Participate in on-call rotation to respond to and assist with the troubleshooting of hardware and application incidents. Track progress and resolution of incidents using SLM best practices. Assist application support teams with customer support cases that have been escalated, as required. Work in conjunction with development teams to resolve bug cases and other application issues as required. Continually improve operations and supportability of all applications by improving upon application management via scripting automation tools and monitoring. 8-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Customer facing experience. Broad understanding of systems integration practices. Undergraduate degree and 4-6 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 2-4 years relevant experience. Additional Job Details: In depth direct system engineering experience involving hardware, software and services solutions for x86 Solutions. Current experience with IIS Installing, Configuring and Upgrading SQL Server Previous experience HBA and SAN technology Create database objects (tables, indexes, etc.) Write database procedures, functions and triggers Tune database queries, tuning and Monitoring SQL Server Direct experience integrating and troubleshooting a broad range of technologies including Windows Servers in a data center environment Should be very strong in replication concepts and troubleshooting replication issues with in SLA Failover Clustering Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams Automation tools/custom automation Windows PowerShell Testing Test the various DB options to ensure they perform better and do not cause worse performance in other portions of the application Knowledge of Linux basic commands
