The Anaplan COE Functional Analyst role will be responsible for maintaining steady state and new enhancements for our existing and new models. Responsibilities will include gathering and translating business processes into functional and technical requirements, creating wireframes/mockups, application and enterprise reporting, user support and training, identifying trends and issue resolution.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of Financial Systems Consulting experience, direct experience working with or being part of a center of excellence to ensure governance standards are met and continuously improved, collaborating with our IT team, and stakeholder management.

You will be required to embrace an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset, relentlessly seeking best practices and technologies from within the CVS Health community and across the external environment and industry, as well as, have a wide-spread knowledge of the Finance process taxonomy including Capital Planning, Revenue Planning, Budget & Forecasting and other areas across FP&A.

What you will do

  • Enterprise partnership - Align key stakeholders and ensure frequent communication/collaboration.

  • Identifying innovative Finance automation technologies and use cases (e.g., Anaplan, Knowledge of Finance and accounting processes and relevant systems).

  • Governance - Collaborate across peers to ensure governance process is effective and repeatable.

  • Accountability - Drive and track measurable results using agreed upon KPIs.

  • Communicate effectively with all levels of management.

  • Ability to understand and bridge IT and Finance processes to present clear and concise information across the enterprise.

  • Driving change across various stakeholder groups

  • Build effective internal relationships.

  • Identify process risks, issues, and mitigations throughout project lifecycle.

  • Identify and source Finance optimization and automation opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of Financial Systems Consulting experience

  • 2 years Strong understanding of Anaplan's architecture and capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strategic mindset - Ability to think outside of the box and recognize opportunities outside of existing business processes.

  • Direct experience working with or being part of a center of excellence to ensure governance standards are met and continuously improved, collaborating with IT teams, and stakeholder management

  • Strong business knowledge - Understanding of our current business, downstream implications, and areas where input and collaboration with other teams is required.

  • Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills.

  • Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills.

  • Adaptability - Ability to pivot quickly, re-assess, and move forward in a constantly changing environment.

Knowledge of:

  • Process Improvement & Delivery methodologies (Six Sigma, Agile, etc.)

  • Finance value drivers across business segments

  • Application Delivery Lifecycle

  • Industry best practices (Finance, Anaplan, COE)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$92,700.00 - $203,940.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
