Job description

Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a systems engineer for the Unmanned & Future Combatant Systems business area, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for systems engineering for our Future Combatants and Mission Systems.
We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:
  • Sensor interfaces, measurements, using sensor data in applications.
    • Basic sensors such as temperature, strain gauge, etc. or navigation sensors such as GPS, MEMS IMU, radars, etc.
  • Test procedure writing and execution. Requirements based design and test to verify.
  • Physics, core engineering, or computer science background.
  • Proficiency in the use and understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, and theories
  • Proficiency with requirements management and system modeling tools
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team throughout the product life-cycle - from pre-proposal to post-delivery support
