BAE Systems is seeking a team contributor in the field of Electronic Warfare (EW) systems to join a growing dynamic group of engineers developing leading edge capabilities in Active and Passive Sensing. You will be a technical member of the Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) Systems Engineering Group that is responsible supporting design, development, integration, implementation, test and verification/validation of EW systems across multiple business areas. As team member, you will be responsible for and support technologies on next-generation military/commercial applications. You will also perform, delivering technical value, in the role of an RF Systems Engineer, for programs ranging from developing prototypes, full rate production, and sustainment of systems. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site. You will support technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation; evaluate alternatives including cost, risk, and supportability; and perform analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of the total system product, to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. You will ensure the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total system solutions and translate customer requirements into hardware/software specifications. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or related field, and minimum of 2 years of work experience or equivalent experience Experience performing one of more of the following systems engineering functions: * Review, develops and documents system level operational concepts * Review and evaluates system designs * Review and analyzes algorithms. * Review test procedures and other reports. * Supports system level integration and test of RF EW systems. * Verifies and validates system designs to ensure conformance with functional specifications and customer requirements. Experience supporting proposal development activities, including proposal text development, cost estimating and presentation activities. Full-Time Salary Range: $79365 - $134921 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
