Position Summary

Global C2 Integration Technologies is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Senior Systems Engineer who provides technical leadership for the development, integration, and verification of system requirements and architecture supporting mission-critical computing systems in on-premises operational environments. This role applies disciplined systems engineering practices across the full lifecycle-from concept through deployment-to ensure alignment between mission needs, system design, and operational performance. This role also supports requirements management, system modeling, and change control to maintain alignment between technical execution and program delivery. This position is contingent upon award of contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall leadership and oversight of systems engineering activities
  • Assign, coordinate, and oversee Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure deliverables align with system requirements and design
  • Control IPT schedules in alignment with program milestones and support task planning, schedule tracking, and coordination with program management
  • Approve technical artifacts supporting program decisions and provide strategic direction
  • Direct reviews and governance processes while ensuring adherence to quality standards
  • Develop, manage, and maintain system requirements
  • Ensure full traceability across mission requirements, system requirements, design elements, verification criteria, and subcontractor deliverables
  • Ensure requirements are clear, testable, and aligned with program objectives
  • Support development of architecture, functional decomposition, and interface definitions
  • Develop and maintain architecture artifacts and ensure designs meet constraints
  • Provide input on secure computing environments, hyperconverged infrastructure, and system integration lab (SIL) design
  • Define and oversee verification strategies to ensure requirements are met
  • Coordinate with test teams on verification planning, execution, and results tracking
  • Ensure closure of verification and validation activities
  • Apply established system engineering processes and lifecycle methodologies
  • Support and lead technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and baseline approvals
  • Develop use cases, operational scenarios, and functional models to describe system behavior
  • Perform system decomposition and analysis to define capabilities and interfaces
  • Track progress against schedules and manage impacts to requirements, design, and delivery
  • Support change management, configuration control, and engineering change activities
  • Collaborate across software, infrastructure, cybersecurity, test, and configuration management teams to ensure alignment from design through deployment
  • Develop and maintain system engineering documentation, including requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience applying systems engineering practices to complex systems
  • Experience with requirements development, system architecture, and verification planning
  • Familiarity with requirements management and modeling tools
  • Strong analytical, coordination, and technical documentation skills

Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting government or defense mission systems
  • Familiarity with INCOSE or NIST-aligned systems engineering practices
  • Experience with tools such as DOORS, Jama, Cameo, Capella, or similar
  • Experience supporting system design reviews and verification activities
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., INCOSE CSEP, PMP)
