Job description

As a Senior Category Manager - Technology Procurement, you will be instrumental in developing our global sourcing plan and promoting enterprise-wide value generation. What You'll Do
  • Define and own global strategy across technology spend, including SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, and IT services.
  • Establish multi-year sourcing roadmaps aligned with technology roadmap, product and engineering priorities, and financial targets.
  • Manage complex, high-value, enterprise-wide negotiations, formulating commercial models for SaaS licensing, cloud consumption/pricing, and multi-year contracts.
  • Structure agreements to optimize cost, flexibility, and risk.
  • Own the global supplier landscape and strategy, establishing supplier segmentation and partnership models.
  • Lead executive-level vendor engagements and partner directly with senior leadership across CTO/Engineering, Product, Finance, Legal, and Security teams.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on build vs buy decisions, vendor selection, and commercial risk and trade-offs.
  • Use analytics and AI tools to leverage spend and usage data, driving cost efficiency, improving contract outcomes, and identifying strategic opportunities.
  • Influence procurement policies, technology governance, and compliance frameworks to ensure alignment with security requirements, regulatory obligations, and contract risk standards.
  • Drive transformation in technology procurement through new sourcing models, automation, and consumption-based optimization.

What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years in technology sourcing/procurement, vendor management, and commercial negotiations.
  • Extensive background in SaaS licensing, cloud pricing structures, and enterprise technology agreements.
  • Proven ability to influence senior collaborators and guide complex negotiations.
  • Experience in global/matrix environments and exposure to FinOps, cloud optimization, or engineering cost models preferred.
  • Strategic problem solver with strong commercial competence and ability to influence without authority at senior levels.
  • High ownership and accountability, with a track record of driving measurable business outcomes.
  • Ability to balance technical, financial, and operational considerations.

Pay Range
$94,500 - $175,500 per year
Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
