Job Description: Q.E.D. Systems, an established engineering firm, has an immediate opening in its Philadelphia office for a Business Development Manager. This manager will be responsible for business development efforts for Naval engineering projects. Meets with technical managers and customers to obtain feedback, evaluates future business opportunities, obtains business intelligence, conducts new business capture, and coordinates work efforts with operational managers.

Job Requirements/skill sets: The Business Development manager provides company capabilities to potential customers and performs business development functions with Government representatives in the Philadelphia area.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Five or more years of experience in business development functions focused on federal Government projects is required.
  • Five or more years of experience in providing engineering solutions to U.S. Navy ship systems issues is desired.
  • Applicant must be able to communicate effectively and be familiar with Government contract and proposal development requirements.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and be eligible for a government security clearance.

Education Requirements: A Bachelors degree from a four-year accredited university or college is required.

Security Clearance/Naval Facility Access: U.S. citizenship required. Must be able to meet and maintain eligibility for a Secret Clearance and/or be able to access military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.
