The Department of Molecular Genetics in the College of Arts and Sciences at The Ohio State University is inviting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position. Investigators addressing fundamentally important biological questions in eukaryotic developmental biology, cell biology, or genomics are encouraged to apply.

Applicants with expertise in imaging, quantitative biology, computational biology, multi-omics analyses, or systems biology will be especially competitive.

What You'll Work On Molecular Genetics & Genomics

Develop an independent research program addressing fundamentally important biological questions across molecular genetics, genomics, and related areas of modern biology.

Developmental Biology

Investigate mechanisms underlying eukaryotic development and use innovative approaches to understand biological processes at the molecular and cellular levels.

Cell Biology

Conduct research addressing important questions in cell biology, using experimental and quantitative approaches to investigate cellular mechanisms.

Quantitative & Computational Biology

Apply quantitative and computational approaches to biological research, including computational biology, data analysis, and mathematical or modeling-based approaches.

Multi-Omics & Systems Biology
